The Texarkana College Board of Trustees met on Monday, March 27, 2023, for their regular monthly meeting. Action items included discussion and approval of the 2023-2024 faculty contract recommendations for both 9- and 12-month assignments and rank advancements for eligible faculty.

CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System broke ground Tuesday on a new emergency center. Located at 4250 Gibson Lane in Texarkana, construction on the 12,000-square foot facility is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks, with a projected completion date of summer 2024. 

The Arkansas High School Robotics Team’s award winning performance in the First Robotics Regional Competition (FRC) resulted in the team receiving an invitation to participate in the First Robotics Global Championship.

The Farmers Bank Foundation is bringing former NFL quarterback and television personality Terry Bradshaw to Texarkana as a part of its Distinguished Speaker Series. The April 6th event featuring Bradshaw is the third Distinguished Speaker Series event hosted in Texarkana by the Farmers Bank Foundation.
