On May 26, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital and Wadley Regional Medical Center collaborated to host their annual Stroke Reunion at Encompass Rehab. Dr. Khalid Malik, neurologist, and Dr. Mark Wren, medical director of Encompass, were the guest speakers. This event is held for stroke survivors and their caregivers to be lifted up by other survivors who have experienced a stroke. This group meets monthly for lunch and hosts a guest speaker on various topics.
