The sixth annual Amanda Fussell Woodman CASA Colorful 5K & Fun Run was held September 22 at Trinity Baptist School’s cross-country track. Despite rainy conditions, 260 runners were covered with colored powder at different stations placed throughout the woods. Activities also included a bounce house, face painting, snow cones, dress as a Superhero, and knockerballs inflatable game. The event benefitted CASA for Children and the services they provide to more than 1,000 abused and neglected children each year.
