CASA and the Women of Hope and Courage Luncheon

CASA and the Women of Hope and Courage hosted a luncheon on September 12 at Northridge Country Club. During the event, video testimonials of child abuse survivors were presented by Marilyn Van Derbur, former Miss America, and Margaret Hoelzer, Olympic medalist. First Assistant District Attorney Kelley Crisp served as the guest speaker.

The mission of the Women of Hope and Courage is to serve as ambassadors for children victimized by abuse through increasing community awareness, promoting advocacy, and financially strengthening the coordinated efforts of Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center (TCAC), and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA for Children).
