Putt for a Purpose Benefits Angel Fund Foundation

Putt for a Purpose, a fundraising event benefitting Angel Fund Foundation, was held on September 7 at Texarkana Country Club. Angel Fund Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps local cancer patients financially with their medical treatments. Angel Fund Foundation thanked their Hole-In-One sponsors, CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, Belt Construction, Patterson Troike Foundation, the Ty Patterson family and the Stanley Knowles family, along with all the other sponsors, contributors and those in attendance for making it a very special evening.

Drawdown winners were Sarah Wages and Jake Hambleton who chose to split the big prize and donated a portion back to Angel Fund. The Fun Putt winners were Richard and Heather Roberts. Dr. Zach King won the putting challenge, and Libby White took home the prize for the longest marshmallow drive. Danny Maxey & The Barn Kats served as the musical entertainment.
